KEH Camera Review: My Honest Experience Buying Used Gear

    My initial customer service contact with Andrew was great, but it went SEVERELY downhill from there.

    My camera – rated EX+ – arrived in non-functional condition. I was EVENTUALLY issued an RMA and followed those instructions to the letter.

    NOW they’re telling me they’re NOT going to issue a refund because there was “sugar” in the packaging and that it somehow damaged the camera.

    Well – the packaging was THEIRS. I fished it out of the trash to return a camera that already WAS NOT WORKING.

    In addition to now reneging on the refund, they’re saying they’re going to ship the NON-WORKING CAMERA BACK to me. What good is that?

    I bought from KEH because they have a stellar reputation. That’s either been paid for or things have changed.

    I feel like I’ve been ROBBED of my hard-earned money, bait-and-switched into a non-working POS camera, and basically told it’s my fault that it arrived broken FROM THEM!

    Go literally anywhere else!

      Oh my gosh, that is truly awful — I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with this. That would be incredibly frustrating for anyone, especially after trusting a company with such a strong reputation.

      While I’ve personally had good experiences with my KEH purchases and haven’t run into anything like this, your situation definitely sounds like it deserves a proper resolution. I really hope their support team steps up, looks into this more thoroughly, and makes things right for you.
