The Best Time of Day

The most beautiful light happens during golden hour, the hour before sunset.

Golden hour provides:

• Soft light
• Warm colors
• Glowing skin tones
• Beautiful backgrounds
• Less harsh shadows

This is why many senior sessions begin in the evening (1-2 hours before sunset).

---

What Happens During the Session?

Many seniors worry they’ll feel awkward in front of the camera—but that’s completely normal.

The session is relaxed and guided from start to finish.

We’ll:

• Walk between locations
• Chat throughout the session
• Give easy posing direction
• Capture candid moments
• Encourage natural movement
• Make sure you feel comfortable
• Maybe make a fun TikTok or 2!

You don’t need modeling experience.

What if the Weather Changes?

Northeast Ohio weather can be unpredictable.

If severe weather is expected, we’ll simply reschedule to ensure you receive the best experience and lighting possible.

Cloudy skies can actually create beautiful, soft portraits, so not every overcast forecast requires a change.
